Zeconomy Joins Canton Network to Expand Institutional Tokenization Capabilities

New York, July 24, 2025 – Zeconomy, a financial engineering and blockchain technology company, announced today that it has joined the Global Synchronizer Foundation (GSF) as an active member and has become a validator on the Canton Network, a privacy-enabled, public blockchain network built for institutional finance and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.

Zeconomy powers the issuance, use, and governance of tokenized financial instruments for use by corporate enterprises and financial firms to solve a variety of pain points in payments, treasury operations, and supply chain finance.

Zeconomy’s launch of a Canton node is a foundational step in delivering new capabilities for its ecosystem of clients and partners, supporting secure, compliant issuance and transaction workflows across decentralized finance infrastructure. Zeconomy will enable tokenized financial instruments such as digital commercial paper ($DCP) to interact with the broader ecosystem of regulated financial institutions and platforms participating on Canton.

“Canton’s enterprise-grade framework and privacy architecture make it an ideal foundation for the kind of tokenized finance we enable,” said Giacinto Cosenza, CEO of Zeconomy. “We’ve built rails for regulated institutions like Guggenheim Treasury Services to launch and transact with RWA on public blockchains. Canton is the next step linking real-world assets to a synchronized network of global institutions with strong compliance guarantees.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Zeconomy to the Canton Network,” said Melvis Langyintuo, Executive Director, Global Synchronizer Foundation (GSF). “Their work in real-world asset issuance and governance—already powering over $300 million in tokenized commercial paper—brings practical expertise and infrastructure that will strengthen the Canton ecosystem. We look forward to deep collaboration with Zeconomy and their partners as we continue driving the future of tokenized capital markets.”

Zeconomy’s services on Canton are expected to go live in Q3 2025.
